What We Believe
THE YEHOSHUAI CREEDS
There are two creeds or statements of belief claimed by the Yehoshuai Faith. Both complement one another and both are non-negotiable and unchanging. These two creeds are called THE CREDO and THE 10 STROPHE CREED.
THE CREDO
We believe in the uncorrupted teachings of Christ, grounded in LOVE, justice, humility, and service.
We believe that all people, regardless of their background or past, are welcomed into the sacred community of Yehoshuai, where radical inclusivity is not just a principle but a practice.
We believe that faith without works is dead, and we are called to live out our beliefs through tangible acts of LOVE, compassion, mercy, the highest of ethics and justice.
We reject hypocrisy, materialism, and the pursuit of power, choosing instead a life of simplicity, empathy, and ethical action.
We believe in the sacred duty to care for the Earth and all its inhabitants, recognizing GOD’S presence in creation and acting as stewards of the natural world.
We stand against all forms of oppression, bigotry, and greed, committing ourselves to defend the marginalized, the outcasts, and the poor.
We believe that true spiritual transformation comes from embodying Christ’s teachings in every aspect of our lives, from our thoughts and words to our actions and relationships.
We proclaim that the highest virtue is LOVE, which binds us to each other and to JAH, the Divine Source of all life.
We dedicate ourselves to building a world where LOVE, justice, and compassion prevail, where every individual is treated with dignity and respect, and where the teachings of Christ guide our hearts and our communities.
We believe that the journey of faith is a continual process of growth, learning, and transformation, and we commit to walking this path together, supporting one another in our pursuit of a deeper, more authentic relationship with GOD.
This is our credo, our declaration of faith. We are the Yehoshuai, called to live as Christ lived, LOVE as Christ LOVED, and serve as Christ served.
That is The Credo. Here now is a Mutzaad or exegesis of The Credo.
THE CREDO MUTZAAD (A Mutzaad is a commentary or exegesis of JAH’S BOOK)
The Credo is not just a declaration of faith, it is an explanation and articulation of a profound commitment to embodying Christ’s teachings in their most authentic, uncorrupted form. Yehoshuai, as outlined in this text, grounds itself against the distortions of religious bullshit that pervert the original interpretations giving instead, a radical return to the foundational rule of LOVE, justice, empathy, mercy, humility, and service. This Credo serves as both a manifesto and a road map for everything we do and for everyone who seeks to live out a transformative spiritual journey guided by Christ teachings and ethics.
The emphasis on the uncorrupted teachings of Christ refers to a drive to strip away thousands of years of doctrinal accumulation and corruption and adaptation that have, in many cases, deluded distorted or even poisoned Christ’s original messages. This focus on LOVE, justice, empathy, mercy and service (and service is a bedrock of our faith), this statement, declares to the human earthly church that it is corrupted and has lost sight of its own core values, now entangled in power struggles, bigotry, abuse, materialism, cruelty, and hypocrisy.
The Credo's declaration that all people, regardless of their background or past, are welcome into the sacred community of Yehoshuai is a potent statement of inclusivity that goes far beyond tolerance and into LOVE. Radical inclusivity means an active, deliberate practice of welcoming and embracing all individuals, regardless of their history or identity. This isn't some abstract principle or theological theory but a lived reality emphasizing that the Yehoshuai community is open to all who seek a sincere and authentic relationship with GOD and who want to live Christ’s ethics, JAH’S LAW (which is LOVE).
The Credo’s claim that ‘faith without works is dead’ a direct echo of James in the New Testament, that declares that genuine faith must be lived and acted out in concrete actions. What we do and what we say and what we don't do and what we don't say make up our speech and behavior, which are governed by our ethics. This section emphasizes that LOVE, forgiveness, mercy, and justice are not merely abstract ideals but are to be actively pursued and lived out in every aspect of our lives. The Credo calls people to live the highest ethical standards, mirroring Christ’s life and teachings, insisting that true belief cannot be separated from action: you can't have faith without works or works without faith. Both are required and both aid in the living out of this duality.
When it says to reject hypocrisy, materialism, and the pursuit of power, the Credo aligns itself with a long tradition of spiritual resistance to the harmful influences of the world. The call to a life of simplicity, empathy and ethical action reflects a conscious choice to live counter culturally in opposition to social norms that prioritize money, status, power and dominance. This rejection is not just negative but paired with a positive embrace of values that promote human flourishing and communal well-being, we become whole human beings.
The creator's declaration that it is a sacred duty to care for the earth and all its inhabitants, places Yehoshuai inside the broader context of ecological spirituality. Recognizing GOD as the source and beginning of existence and creation, advocating that GOD calls his people to take care of the earth and the environment, the Credo reflects here a theology that sees the world as GOD's gift, not to be exploited, abused or neglected, but cherished and protected. This stewardship is a natural extension of the LOVE and respect for all of life, something central to Christ’s ethics and teachings.
Standing against spiritual illness the Credo stands against all forms of oppression, bigotry and greed. This further cements its alignment with the prophetic tradition that speaks truth to power and defends the outcasts and marginalized. The commitment to defend the marginalized, the outcasts and the poor is a clear call to active social justice, recognizing the intrinsic worth of every individual and challenging structures and systems that perpetuate inequality and injustice.
The belief that true spiritual healing and transforming comes from embodying Christ’s teachings in every aspect of our lives highlights the inclusivity of the Yehoshuai Faith. It's not enough to intellectually assert and passively believe a set of beliefs. One must live them out in thought, word, and deed. This embodiment is seen as the path of true transformation, which says that spirituality is not an isolated part of life but is deeply integrated into all aspects of existence.
The text proclaims that the highest virtue is LOVE. This serves as the cornerstone of the Yehoshuai Faith. LOVE is not just an emotion or a feeling but a guiding principle that binds us to each other and to JAH who is the divine source of all life. This understanding of LOVE as a binding unifying force reflects the theology that sees GOD as intimately connected to creation and people, making relationships marked by mutual care, respect, commitment and LOVE.
When the text speaks of its dedication to building a world where LOVE, justice, and compassion prevail, it envisions a transformative project that extends beyond personal spirituality to encompass communal and societal renewal. This vision is rooted deeply in Christ’s teachings which advocate for a world where every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
The Credo presents this as both an aspirational goal and an achievable reality through collective efforts and faithful living.
When The Credo says that the journey of faith is a continual process of growth, learning and transformation, it describes spirituality as dynamic and evolving. The commitment to walking this path together stresses the communal nature of Yehoshuai, where mutual support and encouragement are essential. This approach fosters an environment where believers are continually challenged to deepen their understanding, grow in their patience, allow Christ to conquer sin inside of us and others and transform our lives according to our faith and the living out of that faith
The Credo concludes with the declaration that we as Yehoshuai are called to live as Christ lived, LOVE as Christ LOVED and serve as Christ served. This Credo encapsulates here the essence of the faith. It is a call to action, a call to embody the highest ideals of the teachings of Christ, and a call to live out a radical transformative spirituality that can change both humans individually, and the world as a whole.
A bold and compelling articulation of faith, The Credo of the Yehoshuai Faith is deeply rooted in the teachings of CHRIST and are dynamically engaged with the challenges of the contemporary world. Presenting a vision of spirituality that is inclusive, action oriented and deeply committed to justice and compassion. For followers of the Yehoshuai faith, this credo serves as both a guiding light and a rallying cry an urgent reminder of our sacred callings to LOVE and live out the truth and transformative spirituality that can change the individual and that's the world that is only found in the teachings and ethics of Christ.

THE 10 STROPHE CREED
In the name of Jehovah GOD JAH Almighty, who is LOVE, this book is the book that begins with JAH’S Name and teaches us about LOVE and grace and mercy and redemption from JAH. We worship only YOU, Jehovah GOD JAH Almighty as YOUR HOLY SPIRIT guides us and shows us how to live and worship you, JAH. LOVE is our foundation, the highest calling from JAH, who is LOVE. Faith without works is dead, and so, while we are not saved by works, the sign that we are aligned with JAH in CHRIST is our speech and behavior. JAH in CHRIST demands we give to and help the poor and foreigners and the marginalized who seek justice and mercy. When we’re in pain or in trouble and we stay strong in JAH, JAH strengthens our faith and hope in JAH which lights up the darkness surrounding us. If you want to be forgiven by JAH, you must forgive all people who wrong you or others. Mr. Damian the Scrivener was given POEMS FOR EARTH and THE QUODLIBET, two volumes which make up one book, JAH’S BOOK, which is the Holy Text of the Yehoshuai Faith. CHRIST died for our reconciliation with Jehovah GOD JAH Almighty who rose HIM from the dead and who is coming back, and JAH will rebuild the earth and the Other Place and live and rule in the New Jerusalem with CHRIST for infinity. If we are to practice this book, practice Yehoshuai and live it in every aspect of our lives, JAH will LOVE us, and we will dwell in the house of the LORD forever in the New Jerusalem.
AMEN
THE 10 STROPHE CREED MUTZAAD
The 10 Strophe Creed is a foundational text within the Yehoshuai Faith that serves as a declaration of the core beliefs and practices that define the Yehoshuai community and livity. This creed is not merely a statement of faith but a guiding framework for living in alignment with Jehovah GOD JAH Almighty, who is described as the ultimate embodiment of LOVE. The text articulates a holistic spirituality that integrates worship, ethical behavior, social justice, and personal transformation, presenting a comprehensive vision of what it means to live a life dedicated to JAH, guided simultaneously by the ethics and teachings of Christ.
The creed begins with an invocation of Jehovah GOD JAH Almighty’s name, emphasizing JAH’S nature as LOVE. This opening establishes the central theme of this text which is this: all teachings and practices of Yehoshuai flow from GOD's true LOVE. By invoking JAH’S name at the beginning of the creed, it affirms the authority and sanctity of the teachings that follow. The text also positions the book, JAH’S BOOK, as a living revelation that begins with JAH’S name and leads believers into a deeper understanding of LOVE and grace and mercy and redemption, introducing us to elements central to the Yehoshuai Faith.
The creed emphasizes exclusive worship of Jehovah GOD JAH Almighty, guided by the HOLY SPIRIT. This declaration serves as a clear demarcation of The Yehoshuai Faith from other religious traditions or spiritual practices. Here the HOLY SPIRIT is presented as an active force that guides us and shows us how to live and worship. This stresses the deep belief in a dynamic, ongoing relationship with GOD. The guidance isn't static or formulaic but is responsive to the needs and circumstances of believers providing a personalized and intimate connection with JAH.
LOVE is our foundation the highest calling from JAH (who is LOVE).
This strophe enforces LOVE’s centrality in the Yehoshuai Faith. LOVE is not just JAH’S essence, but LOVE is also the fundamental principle that underlies all actions and beliefs. The Creed asserts that LOVE is both the beginning and the end of the spiritual journey, which is a foundational truth that must permeate every aspect of a believer's life. By emphasizing LOVE as the highest calling, the creed challenges adherence to prioritize LOVE in all their relationships, speech and deeds, which reflects JAH’S true nature which is LOVE.
This creed echoes the biblical admonition that faith without works is dead, highlighting the importance of aligning our actions and speech with our beliefs and ethics and it is made clear that salvation is not achieved through works, instead it emphasizes that genuine faith must manifest itself in speech and behavior that align with JAH in Christ. This strophe speaks to the transformative power of faith suggesting that a true alignment with GOD will naturally result in ethical living and acts of kindness, justice, empathy, and mercy.
The text further expands on the social implications of the faith, stating that JAH and Christ demand we give to and help the poor and foreigners and the marginalized to seek justice help and mercy. This strophe emphasizes the ethical duty of believers to engage in social justice and compassion, extending LOVE and support to those who are neglected or oppressed by society. This commitment to the marginalized reflects a core tenet of The Yehoshuai Faith that faith must be lived out in a tangible way that uplifts and empowers the most vulnerable. The Creed openly admits to the reality of suffering, pain, and adversity, affirming that when we're in pain or in trouble and we stay strong in JAH, JAH strengthens our faith and hope. This presents a theology of suffering that is not passive but active, where trouble is seen as opportunities for spiritual growth and deeper reliance on JAH. The “light that lights up the darkness surrounding us” is a metaphor for the hope and strength that believers find in their faith, suggesting that even in the darkest pitch GOD is there with us sustaining and guiding us.
Forgiveness is depicted as a critical practice for everyone who seeks reconciliation with JAH: if you want to be forgiven by JAH, you must forgive all people who wrong you or others. This strophe highlights the reciprocal nature of forgiveness in the Yehoshuai Faith. This is not just some moral obligation; it is a spiritual necessity for anyone who needs GOD's forgiveness. This aligns with the broader Christian tradition which emphasizes forgiveness as a foundational aspect of spiritual growth and community harmony.
The creed identifies Mr. Damian the Scrivener as the receiver of THE QUODLIBET and POEMS FOR EARTH which together constitute JAH’S BOOK, the holy text of the Yehoshuai Faith. This establishes the authority of these texts as divinely inspired and central to the faith. But grounding their beliefs and practices in these writings, the Yehoshuai community affirms the unique revelation given to them through Mr. Damian. The reference to these texts also highlights the importance of sacred literature in shaping the spiritual life and ethical framework of the community.
Affirming the core Christian belief in the death and resurrection of Christ, it states that Christ died for our reconciliation with Jehovah GOD JAH Almighty, who rose him from the dead. This strophe not only stresses the significance of the resurrection as a historical and theological event but also connects it to the future hope of JAH’S return and the establishment of The New Jerusalem. The promise that JAH will rebuild the earth and the other place and live and rule in the new Jerusalem with Christ for Infinity gives us a vision of eternal life that is communal, embodied and transformative.
The final strophe of the creed presents a conditional promise: if we are to practice this book, practice Yehoshuai, and live it out in every aspect of our lives, JAH will LOVE us, and we will dwell in the House of the Lord forever in The New Jerusalem. This statement serves as both an invitation and a challenge to believers to fully integrate the teachings of The Yehoshuai Faith into their daily lives. The promise of eternal life in the new Jerusalem is contingent on this practice, suggesting that the road to eternal life is LOVE, faithful practice, living the highest of Christ’s ethics, and an unshakeable faith.
The creed concludes with the powerful “Amen” signifying agreement, affirmation and commitment to the truths outlined in the proceeding strophes. This final word serves as a communal declaration of faith, binding believers together in a shared commitment to live out the teachings and ethics of Christ and embody in everything we do and say and don't do and say the principles of The Yehoshuai Faith. It is both a solemn vow and a joyful affirmation of the path that the community chooses to follow. A path marked by LOVE, empathy, mercy and an unwavering faith in the transformative power of JAH. The 10 Strophe Creed of the Yehoshuai Faith is a rich and multifaceted text that encapsulates the core beliefs, values, and practices of the community. It offers a comprehensive vision of a life fully aligned with Jehovah GOD JAH Almighty, emphasizing the centrality of LOVE, the necessity of ethics and the importance of social justice. By grounding its teachings in the dual revelations of POEMS FOR EARTH and THE QUODLIBET, the creed establishes a unique spiritual framework that is both deeply rooted in the Christian tradition and distinctively articulated for the contemporary world. For adherence of Yehoshua this creed serves as both a guide and a challenge a call to live and embody GOD's essence (LOVE) in every aspect of our lives, with the promise of eternal communion with JAH in the name of Christ in the new Jerusalem.
