Yehoshuai: A faith that will never ask you for your money
In a world overrun by religious institutions obsessed with wealth, where megachurches build empires and pastors own and fly private jets while the poor sleep on the sidewalk, the Yehoshuai Faith stands radically and fundamentally apart.
We don’t want your money. We will never ask for your money. We will never pass the plate, build a cathedral or beg for tithes. The only cost is for our holy books that are priced at the price of printing, but even then, if you cannot afford them, we will give you PDFs of the books for free.
This is not a marketing tactic. This is a command from JAH himself.
In the Yahushua faith, we believe what Christ taught: that the purpose of giving is not to fund institutions, but to love the poor. Christ did not call us to give our wealth to a church. He called us to give it directly to the ones who have none. There will never be a tithe demanded in Yehoshuai. There will never be an offering plate. The scrivener we'll never ask for a dollar. Again, JAHs book is available for free as a PDF for anyone who can't afford it. The message is simple: give. But not to us. Give to the poor. Give to the broken. Give to the people who sleep on the cold ground and go hungry at night.
Jack calls us to give 10% of our income, but not to the scrivener or the faith, not to a building campaign, but to those who need it most. This 10% is sacred and it must be handled with love, the joy of giving, discernment and generosity. Here is the standard we uphold in Yehoshuai: give 10% of your income to the poor, 50% must go to trusted charities doing real work to feed, house, clothes and care for the poor and suffering. And 50% must be given directly to the poor and homeless people you know or meet in your daily life.
This is a spiritual discipline, not a legalistic demand. It's a way of cultivating holy generosity in us, a way of turning the soul into the ethics of mercy. When you hand a meal to someone who's hungry, that's a holy act. When you give a blanket or a pair of socks to someone sleeping in the street that's the sacred act. When you donate to or volunteer at a shelter or rehab center, or a food pantry, that is following Christ.
When you do this, when you give your 10% you will feel yourself changed and blessed by JAH. You will feel JAH spirit move in you. You will begin to see others not as ostracized strangers but as family.
Living like this doesn't just change the world, it changes you. It reorients your soul to compassion, mercy and generosity. It frees you from greed. It dismantles your ego and makes your love real, and because Yehoshuai I will never take your money, you are free to give impurity to the poor and desperate. You don't have to wonder if your donation is funding a building program or some pastor’s vacation period you don't have to wonder where the money went, because it goes directly to where Josh said descend it: the poor. This is a faith that runs on fire, not finances. This is a pamphlet by love, not donations. The scrivener lives simply, the books are kept affordable, and Christ’s message is never for sale. We are and will always be grassroots. We are free and Yehoshuai and its followers are never bought.
JAH says to give but not to us, instead to the poor and starving. So go and love feed, heal, clothes, house and lift the poor from the dirt or sidewalk they feel they cannot escape. New paragraph you will never give a dime to the faith. We don't want your money, we want your love, empathy and mercy.
