HOW TO PRACTICE YEHOSHUAI

The Sacraments, Rituals,

Holy Days and Symbols of Yehoshuai

1. Broyt Ahm Veyney

This ritual is to be performed once a week, every Thursday morning or night, either alone or with others. It is the physical act that metaphorically represents the sacrifice of CHRIST on the Cross. It is a reenactment of CHRIST'S last meal on Planet Earth. To perform this ritual all you need is a glass of wine, a loaf of bread and JAH’S BOOK. Begin by sitting in a quiet place on Thursday morning or night and sit in silence, clearing your mind and preparing yourself mentally and spiritually by meditating on CHRIST and HIS death. When you feel spiritually ready, open JAH’S BOOK and read aloud from POEM ELEVEN: JOHN THE REVELATOR’S BOOK OF LOVE PART EIGHT, found in Section 17, strophes 1-15. After reading John the Revelator’s account of the death of CHRIST, meditate on HIS death and sacrifice for a few more moments and then, when you feel spiritually prompted to, pour a small glass of wine, and break off a piece of bread from the loaf and say these words:

“On CHRIST'S last night on Planet Earth, HE ate HIS last Meal with HIS disciples before HE was betrayed and arrested. HE tore off some bread, prayed over it, thanking JAH for food, and gave it to HIS disciples Saying: ‘Eat this. This represents MY body which I’m giving to the people of Planet Earth. Eat this bread to remember ME.’ Then CHRIST picked up a glass of wine and prayed over it, giving thanks to JAH for the drink and said to HIS disciples: ‘This glass of wine represents JAH’S New Covenant with the human beings on Planet Earth, which will be sealed with MY blood, which will be poured out for the people of Planet Earth, for all of you. Drink this wine in memory of ME.’ JAH, I don’t deserve to be your child, but if you just said the words, I would be healed by your LOVE and Mercy.”

After saying this, eat the bread and drink the wine and then meditate on the Holy LOVE of CHRIST and then, when you feel spiritually prompted, sing the Doxology:

Praise JAH from whom

All blessings flow,

Praise HIM all people

Here below.

Praise HIM up above,

You Heavenly Host,

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Amen.

THIS ENDS THE RITUAL OF BROYT AHM VEYNEY.

2. Baptism

This ritual is to be performed only once in a person’s life, because performing this ritual one time fulfills its purpose and doing it again would be unnecessary. This ritual is a physical act done to articulate for a person who is becoming a Yehoshuai, their repentance for their past sins which are washed away by JAH with water to communicate JAH’S forgiveness of the person’s past sins and it represents the death of our former selves, and our embracement of our new lives in Yehoshuai and our submission to JAH'S LAW, which is LOVE. Infant or child Baptism is never allowed, but parents can instead have an elder perform a dedication ritual for their children. You must be at least 18 years old to be baptized. To be baptized you must perform several acts to qualify and be prepared for the ritual.

To be baptized, you must first:

1. Read all The Quodlibet within a two-month period.

2. You must have already practiced Yehoshuai for at least Six months.

3. You must be at least 18 years old.

4. You must write a complete confession to JAH in which you write down every sin you’ve ever committed that you can remember and every human being you’ve ever hurt and then read it aloud to JAH and ask JAH for forgiveness in your repentance.

5. You must memorize The Midrosh and CHRIST'S Prayer.

The Ritual of Baptism in Yehoshuai can only occur in the context of a worship session or a reasoning session and can only be performed by an approved elder of Yehoshuai.

This is the ritual:

Stand beside the Elder, before the people gathered. First, you must recite publicly what you’ve memorized. Then the Elder will ask you: “Are you ready to surrender completely to The Will of JAH through CHRIST, which is LOVE, to die to your old self, and live now in your new self, in your new life as a Yehoshuai, JAH’S own child whom HE LOVES?”

You respond to the Elder’s question saying: “Yes, I am.”

Then the Elder says:

“Do you reject Satan and all of his evils?”

And you say:

“Yes, I reject Satan and all of his evils.”

Then the Elder will say:

“Do you accept Yeshua the CHRIST as your only Lord and Master and confess here that HE is all JAH and all man, and that HE died and rose again for the forgiveness

of all of Humanity’s Sins?”

And you answer: “Yes, I do.”

And then the Elder will ask you:

“Do you have a passage to read us from THE QUODLIBET for your Baptism?”

You say then: “Yes, I do.”

At this point, you will read a pre-chosen passage from THE QUODLIBET, you will read it aloud to everyone gathered there.

The Elder will then Baptize you.

Baptism can be done by sprinkling or submersion, both are valid. The important thing is that whichever way you choose to be Baptized, in the act of Baptism you must be touched by water three times. For Sprinkling, the Elder will do this:

First, the Elder will dip their hand in a bowl of water three times, and on the top of your head three times.

This is what the Elder must say:

(Say the person’s full name with their middle name here), Child of JAH and JAH’S Covenant, JAH LOVES you and has chosen you to be HIS own child. I baptize you in the Name of the Father...

(Hand of water on the head)

In the Name of the Son...

(Hand of water on the head)

And in the Name of JAH’S HOLY SPIRIT.

(Hand of water on the head).

(Say the Person’s full name here), you’ve now repented and submitted to the Will of JAH and are saved from the Second Death and will live forever in the presence and LOVE of JAH and HIS Son, Yeshua the CHRIST. From this moment on, you are Yehoshuai, a true and authentic LOVED Child of JAH.”

For immersion, do the exact same ritual as it is written here, but instead of sprinkling three times, submerge them under water three times, saying the same liturgy.

If a Yehoshuai later in life falls away or descends again into sin, if and when they return to the community of believers, if they want a second baptism, although their original baptism is still valid, and a second baptism is unnecessary and unneeded, if performing the ritual will help them and heal their recent pain and shame, an elder can perform the ritual of baptism again, but only as a confirmation or renewal of the first baptism. But you must know, as far as JAH is concerned, we only need one Baptism, even if we descend later back into the sewer of sin and then return to Yehoshuai.

This is the Baptism Ritual.

3. POEMS FOR EARTH/THE QUODLIBET

Everyone who practices Yehoshuai, must read aloud or sing one section from one of the texts of THE QUODLIBET or one of the poems that make up JAH’S BOOK, POEMS FOR EARTH, at least once a day, because JAH calls us to be always in HIS WORD and the more we understand and the closer we get to the presence of JAH, the closer we are to facing TRUTH, and JAH’S BOOK is TRUTH: JAH’S TRUTH.

4. Cannabis/Ganja

Ganja is important and helpful to Yehoshuai, be it for meditation, reading and discussing JAH’S BOOK, worshiping, creating or for Reasoning Sessions. But whatever the purpose or environment, even if Ganja is used every day, it must remain a Holy Sacrament and we must remember that it is a gift that only comes to us from JAH Almighty for our benefit.

Whether you are alone or with others, every time you ingest Ganja, be it through smoke, vape or eating, before taking into YOUR body the THC, hold up the pipe or pen or edible or spleef before you and say aloud:

In the Holy Name of HIS Imperial Royal Majesty Yeshua the CHRIST, (Yehoshuai!), I receive this sacred gift of healing and spirituality from Jehovah GOD JAH Almighty! Thank you, JAH!”

And then inhale the smoke or vape or eat the edible. After the first ingestion of THC every other ingestion in that sitting only needs to be accompanied by a "Thank you, JAH!".

Ganja stops pain and PTSD and anxiety, it creates peace inside of you, it opens you up inside to spirituality and the supernatural and enables us to worship better and feel JAH and CHRIST in a very real and intimate way.

5. Community and Worship (Konanoya)

Coming together in gatherings is a crucial ritual and sacrament. Yehoshuai are to gather at least twice a week, once for a Worship Session and once for a Reasoning Session. Both meetings should be held in people’s homes and are just as valid if there are two people present or two thousand. In either case, JAH in CHRIST will be present with you at every Worship and Reasoning Session you hold in your house or attend at another’s home.

A Reasoning Session is when two or more Yehoshuai meet and take the sacrament of cannabis and read aloud from THE QUODLIBET or POEMS FOR EARTH and discuss what they read and pray together and sing together songs to JAH and CHRIST and talk and share their personal experiences, both the blessings and the struggles, with JAH in CHRIST in their new lives in Yehoshuai.

A Worship Session is almost identical to a Reasoning Session with these differences:

A) In a Worship Session there is more focus on Singing and should include a drumming circle or musical accompaniment, to aid in singing out of songs to JAH and CHRIST.

B) An Elder or a theologian must give a YEHOSHUAI TALK for the meeting to be a Worship Session.

(A Yehoshuai Talk must conform to these words: for it to be a Talk, it must begin and end with a prayer from the speaker, it must be at least fifteen minutes long and must be centered on texts taken from THE QUODLIBET or POEMS FOR EARTH.

C) Once a month, only at a Worship Session, you are to perform the Broyt Ahm Veyney Ritual lead by the elder or the theologian who gave the talk that night. Cannabis is to be used in both Worship and Reasoning Sessions, but not tobacco. Tobacco is not to be allowed during Worship Sessions, but it can be smoked during Reasoning Sessions.

The rewards of these sessions are invaluable and are like sweet, honeyed Manna from JAH and if you serve a meal after the session and include everyone present, it will only add to the rewards of being in a community, The Body of CHRIST, and eating together reminds us of who we are: Members of JAH’S Family.

6. Prayer (Organic and Lapri-Yay-JAH)

JAH’S goal for us in prayer is to have us pray continuously without stopping, as we go about our days and our work and our lives. But this isn’t easy to do at first for people not used to praying. For new people who never understood how to pray or for people taught prayer falsely, they must be taught and trained in prayer. To begin, they should pray three times a day, and to help them learn, if they are new to Yehoshuai or prayer, they can pray CHRIST'S Prayer or any of the prayers in POEMS FOR EARTH or THE QUODLIBET, including the songs of Mr. Damian the Scrivener which count as prayers. Using these prayers will help them learn to pray, and slowly they can begin to talk to JAH themselves in prayer as they become comfortable.

Yeshua the CHRIST makes it clear repeatedly that we are not to use prayer publicly to get attention or praise. If you are in public and need to pray, don’t stand on the sidewalk, or sit in a restaurant and cry out loudly a prayer like a religious hypocrite, so that everyone hears you, no! Do it silently in your heart and don’t draw any attention to yourself. Prayer is an intimate and private ritual you do alone when you are alone with only JAH in CHRIST.

When learning to pray, when you submit to praying three times a day, pray when you first wake up, in the afternoon, and then again at night before you go to bed.

When you pray, remember not just to pray for yourself, but for others as well. Prayers don’t have to be high literature. They are normally better when they are just the opposite. Prayer is better said in a raw, authentic, and un-polished, honest style. You must be completely vulnerable to JAH when you pray and always pray in CHRIST'S holy name.

7. The Yehoshuai Calendar of High Holy Days

The Holiest Holy Day for Yehoshuai is Resurrection Day, which occurs in the center of High Holy Week found every Spring during the celebration of Passover by the Jews. High Holy Week begins on the Thursday in the week of Passover, which is named Maundy Thursday, which is the remembrance of the night they arrested CHRIST and tried HIM. The next day, the Friday of Passover, is called COMPLETION FRIDAY, which is the remembrance of CHRIST'S death on the cross, and its name comes from CHRIST'S last words: “It is completed!”

Then on that Sunday, we Yehoshuai celebrate the Holiest of Holy Days: Resurrection Sunday, the day CHRIST rose from the Dead.

On the fourth Sunday after Resurrection Sunday, Yehoshuai celebrate the Day of Assumption, which celebrates and remembers the day JAH assumed the Living Risen CHRIST into the dimension of the Other Place.

The second most Holy Day is CHRIST'S Birth, and it is celebrated with our brothers and sisters of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church on January 7th, which they have been celebrating since at least 300AD and the Night Before CHRIST'S Birth is celebrated on January 6th.

The other High Holy Days are:

February 17th is Ash Wednesday, and The Festival of Lent goes from Ash Wednesday to April 3rd. May 8 is the celebration of John the Revelator’s Birth. June 24 is the celebration of John the Baptist’s birth. September 26 is the solemn day of Remembrance of the death of John the Revelator. October 15 is the celebration of the TRANSFIGURATION OF CHRIST. November 1 and 2 are the Celebration of the Days of the Dead. December 31-January 1 is the Celebration of the New Year.

8. Music, Chanting and Singing

Since Yehoshuai is still in its infancy, no one has written or performed any music specific to our faith, but in the interim before those songs are written, the music of Yehoshuai is to be up to the discernment of the individual.

The Gospel albums of Bob Dylan, the recordings of Mahalia Jackson, Bob Marley, and the Danielson Famile are all endorsed by the Yehoshuai Faith. JAH’S BOOK, which is the name of THE QUODLIBET and POEMS FOR EARTH in their complete form, is not just intended to be read, studied, and believed, but also to be performed or recited either by spoken word performance or singing. Even though there is nothing wrong with reading JAH’S BOOK silently to yourself, it is written to be read aloud either through dramatic reading or the singing of the text.

Yehoshuai encourages all styles and methods and modes of performing the sacred text of JAH’S BOOK. It can be spoken dramatically or sung in any style or manner, with one rule: Nothing, not one word of the text taken from JAH’S BOOK can be changed or altered (except for translating it into other languages or patois’). The performance of JAH’S BOOK must be word for word the same as it is written here by JAH through InI, HIS Scrivener. The performing of JAH’S BOOK can be done A Capella or accompanied by music. Those who sing the words of JAH’S BOOK are called: “The Singers of the BOOK” and those who perform it dramatically as they read the text alone are called: “The Readers of the BOOK”.

Chanting is a spiritually gratifying act of worship and meditation. When chanting you may chant with or without music. This is how you should chant: Pick one strophe or more of JAH’S BOOK and say it or sing it over and over as you meditate on JAH or CHRIST, or even just the theological concept mentioned in the strophe you are chanting.

Cannabis enhances the experience of chanting greatly and its use is encouraged when chanting.

9. The Symbols of Yehoshuai and the Absence of Esotericism in Yehoshuai

THE YEHOSHUAI CROSS

This symbol consists of a square bordered in black and inside the square is a circle and inside the circle is a gold cross over two horizontal bars and the top bar is blue, and the bottom bar is green. This is the primary symbol in Yehoshuai.

THE COLORS OF YEHOSHUAI

The colors of Yehoshuai that symbolize and represents the Faith are Blue, Gold and Green, and the secondary colors are Black and White. Yehoshuai are encouraged to wear these colors, decorate their homes with these colors and use these colors in their art.

THE WORD INI

The word “InI” and the eccentric use of the word “I” was first used by Rastafari, and have been adopted and adapted by Yehoshuai, particularly in JAH’S BOOK. In Yehoshuai, when InI is used by JAH or CHRIST, it refers often to the use of the name “I AM what I AM”, used by JAH in the Torah, specifically, when HE speaks to Moshe from the burning bush in Exodus 3:1-4:17 on Mt. Sinai. Humans can use the word InI also when referring to themselves regarding their duality caused by the reality that they are not just them alone but two, because since JAH dwells inside them, they are two. InI or just the word “I” can replace the words: Me, My, Mine, Our and We.

ZION AND BABYLON AND SODOM

Mt. Zion in the Tanakh is the Holiest place in Israel, and thus, the world, because it was the location of the Temple in Jerusalem which is where JAH literally dwelt in the Holiest of Holies, which was HIS home. In Yehoshuai, Zion can represent any holy place where JAH can be felt or experienced. What is more, we are told that Mt. Zion will be the location of the New Jerusalem, after it descends from the New Other Place to the New Earth.

Babylon in Yehoshuai can mean three different things. First, it can describe the actual historical city of Babylon as mentioned in the Tanakh, but it can also refer to any modern and corrupt, oppressive, and depraved nation in the Western World.

Sodom is used to describe three things. First, it is used to describe the historical city of Sodom in the Tanakh, which JAH destroys. Second, Ezekiel says in JAH’S BOOK that Sodom’s sins were that they lived decadent lives of wealth and greed and luxury, while many of its people starved in the streets. So, when Mr. Damian the Scrivener says HE was born in Sodom or that HE was a child of Sodom, it means that HE was raised in wealth and comfort and was taught to ignore the cries of the Poor and starving. But because of the story in the Torah of Lot, when the two angels come to Lot’s home in Sodom, and a mob of men from Sodom surround Lot’s home and demand that the two angels come out so they can gang rape them, often Mr. Damian the Scrivener uses the word Sodom to refer to Child Sexual Abuse, rape and Sexual Trauma and violence. When Mr. Damian describes himself as a Child of Sodom, he also means that he was a survivor of rape and Child Sexual Abuse, from the hands of evil men.

THE STAR OF DAVID AND THE CELTIC KNOT

King David is the progenitor of CHRIST, The Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, and thus, David’s Star, which HE had painted on all his soldier’s shields is also the Star of CHRIST, because CHRIST is the True Davidic King of Israel and the Son of Solomon. The symbol of the Conquering Lion from the Tribe of Judah is often depicted in the center of the Six-pointed Star of David.

Celtic Knots are from medieval Ireland and are stylized graphical representatives of absurdly complicated and elaborate knots in art. They were adopted by Christianity and were used in Illuminated Manuscripts, in particular in the illuminated manuscript called “The Book of Kells” and are now used as symbols decoratively in Yehoshuai Art and Books.

NO ESOTERICISM

Unlike many world religions and faith systems, where there is an underground of Esoteric knowledge, teachings and rituals, there is no esotericism in Yehoshuai. There are no secret teachings and there are no hidden secret messages in JAH’S BOOK. Everything in JAH’S BOOK is there on the surface and is available and free to anyone who wants it. You don’t have to decode anything or look for hidden meanings because they’re not there.

Like JAH Himself, this BOOK is straightforward and direct and simple, but to live these straightforward, direct, and simple words of Truth is very hard, seemingly impossible. The answer is this: For a human being to live the LAW and livity of CHRIST, they must work hard through painful personal and spiritual evolutions, and it can only be lived out when we submit entirely and radically to JAH in CHRIST through the HOLY SPIRIT, and a total dependence on JAH.

You can’t live the LAW and Livity of CHRIST, of JAH, without complete surrender and then dependence on JAH Almighty.

The reason CHRIST'S Ethics are considered nearly impossible to live by some, is because they were attempted with no faith, submission to or LOVE for JAH through CHRIST, and everyone who’s tried to live CHRIST'S Ethics without JAH and CHRIST failed miserably. The LOVE, LAW, and Livity of CHRIST, and thus JAH, can only be lived through a radical submission to JAH, a radical dependence on JAH and an authentic LOVE for JAH through CHRIST.
