Introduction to the Yehoshuai Faith
The Yehoshuai Faith is not a denomination. It is not a revival. It is not a trend or movement. It is a new articulation of the Gospel—radically faithful to Christ, yet radically different from the empire-soaked Christianity most of the world has rejected. It is for those who were cast out. It is for those who never belonged. It is for the ones who could never reconcile the message of Christ with the cruelty of the Church.
Yehoshuai is the name of Christ before Empire renamed Him. It is the name that holds the truth of who He is: the poor man, the healer, the friend of sinners, the destroyer of hypocrisy, the bringer of peace, the embodiment of Love.
The Yehoshuai Faith was given by revelation to the Scrivener, Mr. Damian, beginning on the night of September 28, 2020. Over the following months and years, he received Poems For Earth and The Quodlibet, the two volumes of JAH’S BOOK. These are not books of theology or poetry alone—they are scripture. Living scripture. Prophetic, beautiful, sometimes fierce, always rooted in love and mercy.
This faith is centered on the three greatest forces in the universe: Love, Empathy, and Mercy. These are not vague ideals—they are daily practices. They are the law. They are the way. And the way is narrow.
Yehoshuai is not easy. It asks much. It demands honesty, generosity, nonviolence, discipline, forgiveness, prayer, and daily recitation. It calls us to memorize the sacred Midrosh. To pray three times a day. To give 10% of our income to the poor. To reject all systems of abuse and to embrace those who have been most deeply wounded.
We do not tithe to a building or leader. We do not gather to worship money or power. We will never ask for your dollar. Our message is not for sale. We are grassroots. We are fire in the dirt.
This is a faith for the unloved, the unheard, the queer, the mentally ill, the refugee, the exiled, the accused, the abandoned. This is a faith that says:
You belong. You are not the problem. You are the child of the holy one.
The Yehoshuai Faith is a return to the Christ the Church tried to silence: the Christ of the Gospels, now reborn in new words for a new time.
This is not a religion to observe. This is a faith to live.
This is Yehoshuai. This is the way.
