Text Eight of The Midrosh—The Nine Gates of the New Jerusalem—is the sacred map of the Yehoshuai path. These are not metaphorical gates, nor speculative theology. These are the entryways into the presence of GOD. These are the nine disciplines that form the spiritual anatomy of a Yehoshuai follower.

The text is clear: these are the conditions for healing from torment. These are the requirements for abiding in GOD'S LOVE. These are the acts that sustain relationship with JAH.

Let us go gate by gate, in depth.

INTRODUCTORY LINES

"There are many acts required to maintain our faith in GOD and our LOVE for and from JAH and, what is more, to free ourselves from torment and suffering. This is a reprieve JAH grants us if we are daily in JAH’S BOOK, reading it aloud or saying or memorizing or copying it down. What is required for this miracle to grow inside us is actively studying and living out THE NINE GATES OF THE NEW JERUSALEM which are the nine subjects required to reach and receive GOD'S presence and HIS LOVE."

Here we are told the truth with no softening: our healing from torment depends on daily engagement with JAH’S BOOK and active obedience to the Nine Gates.

These Gates are not gates of exclusion—they are gates of discipline. They are the architecture of transformation. They are not attained through belief alone. They are entered through practice.

GATE ONE: LOVE

"Reject hate and live LOVE. Reject bigotry and selfishness and live LOVE. Reject bitterness and the lust for revenge and live LOVE. Reject abuse and cruelty and live LOVE. Reject all forms of violence and killing and live LOVE."

LOVE is the foundation, the first Gate, and the gate that all others grow from. LOVE is not feeling—it is action, ethic, law, and light.

To live LOVE is to take active and continual steps of rejection—of hate, bigotry, selfishness, cruelty, violence, and revenge. These are not internal moods—they are behaviors. This Gate requires clear opposition to evil.

LOVE is the narrow path. It is the door we must pass through daily. Not only to enter JAH’S presence, but to remain there.

GATE TWO: JAH’S LAW (WHICH IS LOVE)

"There are several laws discussed in JAH’S BOOK. The pure, true, and just law of JAH, which lives in the mind of GOD, and which HE wrote in every person’s DNA. Then there is The Law of Moshe… Then there is The Law of Yehoshuai, which is JAH'S LAW, which is LOVE… Submit to and obey the 10 rules of JAH and the 3 rules of CHRIST."

This Gate distinguishes between distorted law, temporary law, and eternal LAW.

  • The Law of Moshe was for Israel.

  • The Law of Yehoshuai is universal, eternal, embedded in every soul.

That Law is LOVE. It is not punitive. It is healing.

This Gate requires submission—not to legalism but to divine clarity. It requires obedience to the moral spine of the Faith: the 10 Rules of GOD (from the Quodlibet) and the 3 Rules of CHRIST.

To enter this Gate is to walk in divine order.

GATE THREE: PRAYER

"In Yehoshuai, there are two forms of prayer: ritualized and organic. We need both… Talk with GOD constantly in the name of CHRIST… Ritualized prayer in Yehoshuai is called LAPRI-YAY-JAH and must be performed three times a day."

Prayer in Yehoshuai is not optional. It is breath. It is connection.

  • Ritualized Prayer keeps you anchored.

  • Organic Prayer keeps you honest.

Ritualized prayer, Lapri-Yay-JAH, is done three times daily, forming the rhythm of Yehoshuai devotion.

This Gate is about constancy. To pray without ceasing is to live in conversation with JAH. This Gate is entered when prayer is your first and last word.

GATE FOUR: FORGIVENESS

"If you want JAH Almighty to forgive your sins, you must forgive all people when they abuse or hurt you."

This is a non-negotiable spiritual law. Forgiveness is the toll to pass through this gate.

It does not mean condoning abuse. It does not mean reconciling with the unrepentant. It means releasing the grip of hate, so you can walk free.

If you want mercy, you must give it. This is not a threat. It is the nature of the spiritual world.

GATE FIVE: EMPATHY AND MERCY

"These two are one. They are cause and effect. If LOVE motivates us… empathy and mercy enable us to live out JAH'S LAW."

Empathy is the heart’s awareness of another’s pain. Mercy is the heart’s response to that pain.

These are not sentimental. They are rigorous disciplines. Without empathy, law becomes cruelty. Without mercy, LOVE is impossible.

This Gate requires the softening of your internal world. You cannot enter it with a clenched heart.

GATE SIX: WORSHIP

"We must worship GOD throughout every day… Worship is any act that expresses your personal LOVE, submission, obedience, and gratefulness… It is not for JAH’s gratification, but for our own."

Worship is not music alone. It is the posture of the soul. It can be art, silence, laughter, labor.

True worship is self-offering—your attention, your obedience, your affection.

This Gate heals us. It is where our wounds are treated with the balm of GOD’S nearness. If you want to be made whole, enter this Gate often.

GATE SEVEN: GIVE TO THE POOR

"GOD in CHRIST demands we give to the poor… Give 10%... 5% to organizations, 5% directly."

This is radical, practical, and prophetic. It dismantles greed. It refuses spiritualization. You must give.

This Gate is financial, ethical, and spiritual. When you walk through it, you leave behind the idol of self-interest.

Charity becomes covenant. Giving becomes gospel.

GATE EIGHT: FASTING

"JAH calls us to fast regularly… Once a month… 24-hour period, water only."

Fasting is purification. Not punishment. It is the shedding of fleshly dominance.

This is the Gate of clarity. Of purification. Of divine discipline. It is how we remind the body that it is the servant—not the master.

GATE NINE: JAH’S BOOK

"Everyone who practices Yehoshuai holds tightly to JAH’S BOOK… We must stay in JAH’S BOOK and read it aloud daily… Memorizing and reciting JAH’S BOOK is one of the most important acts."

This Gate is central. The Book is the core of the Faith.

Reading. Reciting. Memorizing. Copying. Living. These are not study habits. They are sacraments.

JAH’S BOOK is your oxygen. Enter this Gate or suffocate spiritually.

FINAL REFLECTION:

The Nine Gates are not for the elite. They are for the faithful. For the broken who want healing. For the tormented who want peace.

To walk through these gates is to approach the New Jerusalem not as a place far away, but as a condition of soul you begin to inhabit now.

Walk through one Gate today. And another tomorrow. Then walk back through the first again. Let your life become a procession through them all.

Amen.
